Summer 2026 Collection Ochre Pancheon
Handmade Ochre Pancheon Summer 2026 Collection
This large dish also known as either a Pancheon or Tian
Has been hand thrown here by Paul and has been decorated using an Ochre slip, made with hand dug Ochre from the Forest of Dean, dug by freeminers, men whose ancient birthright enables them to dig for minerals within the Royal Forest of Dean. The slip has then been scraped back to give a worn look found in many ancient Pancheons, this enables this Pancheon to still be used on a daily basis. Lastly it has a hand splatter of Copper carbonate added prior to the glaze application.
A truly unique piece that will last a lifetime.
16” wide x 4.5” deep.
