Pottery Taster Session Experience Open Voucher 2026

 Taster Session Information 

Please note, you do not need to be a member of the National Trust to come to the pottery.

Perfect Gift for someone or yourself. Learn in a working pottery, with experienced potters.

Sessions are run on various Friday's and Saturdays throughout the year. Vouchers are valid for 12 months. 

This Pottery workshop is designed for beginners, offering you time to have a go on the potter’s wheel in a working pottery, with no pressure in a relaxed atmosphere in our pottery school room.

This two-hour session starts at 10.30am with tea or coffee. After a demo by Paul, you will prepare you own clay, and learn the techniques on the wheel to make pots.

You will choose your favourite three pots made on the day, these will be finished and glazed by us for you to collect at a later date. All materials are included.

This Voucher is a great gift for someone who would like to have a go at a Taster Session on the Potter's Wheel, but is not sure what dates they have available in 2026. A letter explaining about the morning and how to book, along with a leaflet, will be sent in the post in a plain white envelope. If you would like your letter and voucher personalised, put the recipient’s name in the comments box.

If you have left it late then we can email you the letter to print off, just let me know in the comments box. Phew!

We have six wheels and a maximum of six students making sure they all have their own wheel. Our wheels are placed so you are not in each others space.
